I'll be honest, I don't know much about these figures or the manga they come from. A quick Google search provides little information on Dark Angel: Phoenix Resurrection except that it was in fact a manga created by artist Kia Asamiya that saw a limited 4-issue release in the U.S. by Image Comics. The lack of details on this property probably explains the lack of interest in this two-figure assortment. Still, I have to hand it to Toycom for getting these obscure (by U.S. standards) properties over to American collectors. Toycom's North American distribution of Cyber Ninja (see our Card Back HERE) remain two of my favorite action figures in my collection.
