The first official trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is now live for viewing. Part one of Peter Jackson's adaptation of the classic J.R.R. Tolkien book opens in theaters December 14, 2012. The second half, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, releases the following year in 2013.

That looks so great, so looking forward to my favourite childhood book made into a film, I hope its as good as the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. But cant believe iv now got to wait a year !
