New GI Joe Renegades figures, vehicles, comics, more!

GI JOE:

This month, Hasbro has unveiled the first 30th Anniversary GI JOE figure assortments: a nice mixture of totally new figures, modern re-imaginings of classic characters, and also some Renegades liknesses in the mix.

- Set #1, due in August, includes new figures Stalker and Hazard-Viper along with fan-favorite troop builders Cobra Viper, Iron Grenadier, Steel Brigade, and Cobra Trooper. $42.99

- Set #2, due in September, includes Renegades characters Firefly, Snake-Eyes, Duke, and Cobra Commander. $31.99

Also available are the re-release of the modern VAMP, modern HISS tank (in crimson), and the all-new Black Dragon VTOL. Each Bravo-sized vehicle features an all-new pilot or driver figure. Available in sets and the Black Dragon VTOL is also available singly.

Small Joes also still have some of the awesome re-issue Skystrikers w/ Ace available for pre-order!

New 12" GI JOE action figures are also in stock and available for shipment.

You're missing out on some fun reading if you haven't checked out the Cobra Civil War going on right now in IDW's three GI JOE comic titles: GI JOE, COBRA, and SNAKE-EYES. This a major crossover event that fans shouldn't miss. Latest issues are COBRA #2 and GI JOE #3 with SNAKE-EYES #3 coming in this Wednesday.

MARVEL UNIVERSE:

Hasbro has announced their Marvel figure line-up through fall.

- Wave 3 has been pushed into August (sorry) and will contain Dr. Strange, Skarr, Falcon, Crimson Spider-Man, and Dr. Doom.

- Wave 4 is scheduled for September and will contain X-23, Steve Rogers, Submariner, Darkhawk, and Ultron.

- Wave 5 will be available in October and features Tony Stark Iron Man, Iceman, Absorbing Man, Astonishing Wolverine, and Magneto.

- Masterworks Sentinel figure will be arriving soon. The Guardians of the Galaxy 3-Pack is also expected in August. Be sure to reserve your pre-orders for all of these at the earliest.

By the way, Small Joes continue to stock the Captain America 3.75" movie figure line. There is a lot here of interest for the military action figure fan, also for troop building, accessories, and other customization potential. Worth your time to check out.

1:6 SCALE MILITARY:

Small Joes have some fun new items in 1:6 scale with more on the way, including:

- WW2-era German military action figure from Dragon In Dream

- Toshiro Mifune as Japanese Commander of the Combined Fleet (sold as set of 2 with free gift, or available individually)
