John Santagada Presents: 8-Ball, The Terror From Space

Prepare the Fallout Shelter; The Radioactive Rumblers Are Coming...

After 9 years in the Collectible Toy Industry providing hundreds of award-winning, brand-strengthening products for such companies as DC Direct, Mezco Toyz and Gemmy Industries; John Santagada (the Radioactive Uppercut) is finally unleashing his own original toy line to an unsuspecting public. Presenting 8-Ball, The Terror From Space, the first in a planned series of Radioactive Rumblers. In the planning stages for over 6 years, this project is inspired by old sci-fi and horror flicks, 80’s toys, and monster comic books of the 50’s/60’s.

The 8-Ball/ Radioactive Rumblers project will be funded through Kickstarter with the campaign scheduled to go live in early July. The 8-Ball figure in his red deco color scheme will be a limited edition and will ONLY be available through the Kickstarter campaign.

8-Ball was sculpted by Joshua Sutton of ERA Sculpture, stands at 4 inches tall and features 3 points of "city crushing" articulation. The figure will come with a collector's trading card featuring a faux comic cover for 8-Ball on the front and his bio/stats on the flipside. He will be packaged in polybag with header card, and will be signed and numbered. 8-Ball will cost $55, shipping included.

Alongside basic "entry" donation incentives of trading cards, stickers, magnets, original art, and of course the standard 8-Ball figure, a number of custom one-of-a-kind resin 8-Balls will be available for purchase. Some fantastic artists have donated their time and talent to the cause, including Living Dead Dolls creators Ed Long and Damien Glonek, MF Gallery's Frank and Martina Russo, Monsterforge, Topheroy, Motorbot, D-Lux, Tom Connors, October Toy's George Gaspar and John "Spanky' Stokes are all confirmed so far.

Based upon the success of 8-Ball, The Terror From Space, many more Radioactive Rumblers figures will be released. Many are already sculpted and designed, just waiting in the wings.
