TF2010: Universal Monsters Collectibles Line Revealed The classic movie monsters make a comeback… Toy Fair 2010 coverage brought to you by the following fine sponsors: BigBadToyStore.com, PastGenerationToys.com, and Sekaido.com (YesAnimation.com). Diamond Select will be releasing several Universal Monsters collectibles starting this Fall. Diamond will be launching the all new Monsters line this fall with a Minimate git set, MEGO styled figure and a highly detailed action figure of the Creature from the Black Lagoon in the fall. Other Universal Monsters will follow in the fourth quarter of each year and will be made available in the same 3 formats. Additionally, Diamond mentioned that there will be a mass retail version of the action figure which will have an MSRP of $14.99 while a direct market version with alternate deco and more detailed display base/accessories which will retail closer to the $20 price point. The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, The Wolfman and the Mummy action figures were all on display and are sculpted by Jean St Jeane. The action figures are highly detailed and will feature details and articulation similar to current Marvel Select line.
