SDCC11: Star Wars The force is strong in San Diego... San Diego Comic-Con coverage brought to you by Tonner, Collectibles Insurance, and Big Bad Toy Store. Kotobukiya’s Star Wars line continues in two scales, ARTFX and ARTFX+. On display at Comic-Con was a nice variety of current and future products, bringing balance to the Force with both heroic and villainous characters. Joining the light-up Darth Vader in the full size ARTFX line was the recently announced Obi-Wan Kenobi (who also has a light-up lightsaber), and an early prototype of an Empire Strikes Back Yoda complete with Dagobah environment. In the smaller ARTFX+ line Koto brought out a cool Empire display of Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Stormtroopers, along with new figures: Black Hole Troopers, Force Unleashed Stormtrooper Commanders, Clone Troopers, and R2-D2 & C-3PO. There was even a sneak peak card featuring Darth Maul, whose release will coincide with the re-release of Phantom Menace in 2012! Check out the entire Kotobukiya Star Wars gallery HERE!
