    TF13: Royal Bobbles

Taking The Bobblehead To A Whole New Level...

Royal Bobbles (www.royalbobbles.com) is the premiere brand of bobbleheads, focusing on quality with outstanding sculpts, hand painted details, and special features like removal accessories and historical accuracy in likenesses and outfits. Even their packaging is top notch with full-length bios, portraits, and additional interesting facts. Their figures are so well-respected that they’re even carried in historical locations and museums; you can buy their Lincoln figure at the Ford Theatre and at Gettysburg! When creating their John Wayne figure Royal Bobbles worked closely with the actor’s son to get every detail right down to the longer bullet at the middle of his belt at his back so he could feel when he was running out of ammunition. Similarly the figure’s pistol grip is the appropriate color Wayne himself created by staining his gun with iced tea.

At Toy Fair we got to check out that figure and many more from Royal Bobbles, like the Teddy Roosevelt who wears “pincher” glasses with real glass lenses and historically accurate blue and white speckled neckerchief, and the Nixon bobble that even comes with an actual campaign button and certificate of authenticity! In addition to historical figures like presidents, poets (like Edgar Allan Poe with a little raven), and more, Royal Bobbles has modern licenses like the History Channel’s American Pickers and Dance Moms (Abby Lee Miller doesn’t have a bobblehead but rather bobble hips). They even have fun characters like Smokey Bear.

Coming soon in Royal Bobbles’ lineup are three more Elvis figures to go along with the initial white sequin version (the next up will be a ‘68 Comeback Special version), a World War II John Wayne version, and other great historical figures as well as some new licenses that we can’t reveal just yet, but will make really fun bobbleheads.
