[HR][/HR][B]Weta[/B] announces that they will play an important role in bringing to life [B]Mad Max: Fury Road[/B], the long-awaited continuation of the Mad Max series, the last installment of which, [I]Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome[/I], premiered 25 years ago.

As with previous Mad Max movies, [B]George Miller[/B] is the director and Weta will be working with him on conceptual design, Specialty Make-Up FX, Costume and Dummies. The movie is currently scheduled for a 2012 release.
