Play Imaginative's DC Comics Super Alloy Series Expands

    "New 52" Justice League Announced...

Play Imaginative announces that they will be expanding their Super Alloy series beyond Jim Lee's Batman (in stores now, pictured above) to include characters from the DC Comics: The New 52 comic books. In 2013, the Super Alloy Collectible Figure product line will grow to include "New 52" Superman, Green Lantern, Batman, and The Flash. The figures will be produced in 1/6 scale (approximately 12 inches), be made of 45-90% die-cast metal alloy, and feature up to 60 points of articulation.

The New 52 Super Alloy Collectible Figures will be released according to the following approximate release dates:

    * The New 52 Super Alloy Superman - May 2013
    * The New 52 Super Alloy Green Lantern - August 2013
    * The New 52 Super Alloy Batman - October 2013
    * The New 52 Super Alloy The Flash - December 2013

Photos were not available as of this press release. Pricing has also not been announced, though if the Jim Lee Batman Super Alloy figure is any indication, these will retail for around $260 each.
