    Clip. Stick. Pose.

To insure your action figure collection, get in touch with Collectibles Insurance, the official insurance company of the Figures.com network. Say "Figures.com" to get 5% off your first term premiums.

    To buy action figures, take a look at BigBadToyStore.com, RedfordFilms.com, PastGenerationToys.com, BriansToys.com, ToyWiz.com, SmallJoes.com, MonkeyDepot.com, and Urban-Collector.com.

If you're any collector like me, then you've already begun the search for how to expand your toy display into other regions of the house, apartment, office, car, etc. Bookcases and Ikea Detolfs are great but they can't go in the kitchen. You need something simpler, smaller, and... magnetic! Imagine if your action figures were magnets. Better yet, who needs to buy magnets if every one of your favorite figures really CAN become one! Blazon Displays has done just that with their new MAGNACLIPZ (the Z makes it cooler). Their slogan is to "Put ACTION back into action figures!," but I love the concept so much that I'm completely content with littering my fridge with any figure with or without a good pose.

The concept is simple. The plastic clip is equipped with powerful neodymium magnets that works with most (probably all) magnetic surfaces. The prongs currently come in three different sizes: small (5/8"), medium (11/16"), and large (13/16"). The prongs have the ability to expand for larger figures but I'm holding out for one that can snap onto the shell of a Ninja Turtle.

The small clips work best with Star Wars, G.I.Joe, Marvel Universe-type figures. Medium size clips also work well with the fatter versions of the Star Wars, G.I.Joe, and Marvel variety. The large "clipz" size works great with Marvel Legends and DC Universe Classics but might be too small for most Masters of the Universe Classics figures.

The sampler pack reviewed here comes with two of each sized clip (both clear and black colors) and costs a very reasonable $7 through their site: blazondisplays.com. You can also purchase clips individually or in packs of 10. And if you're tired of the fridge, they also offer various magnetic boards to hang on your wall or other surface.

I'm always looking out for great new ways to display my toys and I think I've found a new favorite with the Magnaclipz (patent pending). Nothing makes me happier than having William "Refrigerator" Perry guarding my freezer. Hopefully with increased popularity or awareness, Blazon Displays will be able to expand their clips to hold larger figures or even Transformers! One can hope. These are fantastic clips that do a great job holding figures to whatever surface. The only weakness: plastic capes.
