Art Asylum's DARK ALLIANCE (2001) "The new evilution in action figures"... While designed and produced by Art Asylum, Dark Alliance was actually a multi-team endeavor that also included Diamond Select Toys (distribution) and Eternal Toys (manufacturing). The project featured the characters of Chaos! Comics, such as Chastity, Lady Death and Cremator, all packaged on an extremely slick flaming card backs (not very MIP friendly, but certainly cool looking!). The well-designed toy line was a moderate success, with two assortments seeing release. Even to this day, the action figure of Lucifer (especially the exclusive "Back in Black" version) stands as one of the most wicked devil toys ever produced.
