    New EXPENDABLES 2 Collectibles

Action Figures and Minimates from this Summer's Explosive New Film...

In addition to Minimates based on characters from the first Expendables movie (see our story HERE), Diamond Select Toys will be releasing new Minimates AND action figures from The Expendables 2, opening in theaters August 17, 2012.

First up are two new box sets of Expendables 2 Minimates. Due out in October, the specialty-market box set will include team members Ying Yang, Gunner Jensen and Toll Road, plus the aptly named new villain Jean Vilain (played in the movie by Jean-Claude Van Damme!). At Toys"R"Us, we'll see another box set starring team leader Barney Ross, Trench Mauser, Mr. Church and Booker (played in the movie by Chuck Norris)!

Then, in November, DST will present the first three figures in their 7-inch-scale Expendables 2 action figure line. The line kicks off with Gunner Jensen (featuring the likeness of Dolph Lundgren), Hale Caesar (featuring the likeness of Terry Crews) and both beret-wearing and beret-free versions of Barney Ross (featuring the likeness of Sylvester Stallone). All are wearing their mission gear, and each will feature character-appropriate weapons and details.
