SDCC11 Voltron The Defender of the Universe returns... San Diego Comic-Con coverage brought to you by Tonner, Collectibles Insurance, and Big Bad Toy Store. The upcoming Voltron toy line by Mattel has been shrouded in secrecy since the license was announced a few months ago until now. The new Voltron Force and Voltron Classics figures were on display at Mattel's booth at this year's Comic-Con. While the Voltron Force figures will be seeing mass retail distribution, Mattel has created a new subscription for Voltron Classics dubbed Club Lion Force. The one year subscription will consists of all 5 lion needed to build a gigantic 24" Voltron and their respective pilots. Subscribers are guaranteed to have a complete Voltron figure and all its pilots along with the club exclusive blue pilot.
