Day 2 of the 2013 Chicago TARDIS. Another great day for Doctor Who fans... all 2000 of them (the maximum attendance)!

The dealers room has many items for sale from Doctor Who toys to Doctor Who CD's and many merchandise that should satisfy any Doctor Who fan. Even Gene Smith, the program chair, is seen talking to customers and assisting them with their purchase.

This day Freema Agyman, who played Martha Jones with Doctor number 10 arrives. The lines were long and crowds were heavy, which is an accurate indication on how popular this companion was. The 3 doctors are autographing today as well and the lines for that were equally as long for autographs.

The Chicago TARDIS has this clever process called a "virtual ticket". Basically you're in line to receive a ticket with a letter and number. Then you can walk freely throughout the convention until the time for the auto or photograph begins. In which you can sit in a large room, with a TARDIS in it no less, and wait till your letter and number is called. Then you are directed to a special room where the magic appears. Here they have the professional photographer set up in one side and the line of tables for autographs on the other. All in all a great process to enable the fan to enjoy more of the show, be it the many panels of Q and A with your favorite Doctors, Companions, Supporting Cast, as well as the folks behind the scenes of Big Finish Audio. If none of these fancy a fans interests then threes always 24 hours of Dr. Who in any of the 2 movie theaters that were set up for this magical event.

Tonights events will be the Masquerade Contests (yes, cosplay is alive and well here) at 7:30pm and the CyberKareoke Party at 10:30pm. This Time Lord is going to investigate these events and see how the Doctor Who fans have fun! Until then keep your TARDIS locked and your Sonic Screwdriver close.
