Pixar. Marvel. [B]Star Wars[/B]?! In shocking breaking news, [B]Disney[/B] has announced the acquisition of [B]Lucasfilm[/B] in a deal valued at $4.05 billion. As new owners of George Lucas' entertainment empire, Disney has revealed plans to continue the Star Wars Saga beyond [I]Return of the Jedi[/I], with [B]Episode VII[/B] targeted for release in 2015. Disney CEO Bob Iger said Lucasfilm had already developed an extensive story line on the next trilogy and Episode VII was now in early-stage development. Lucas will serve as creative consultant in the new movies.

The deal also includes high-tech production companies Industrial Light & Magic and Skywalker Sound, as well as rights to the Indiana Jones franchise.
