SDCC12: Hasbro Takes Aim With Transformers Prime and Bot Shots

Brand new and upcoming bots will blow you away...

Check out our complete SDCC Transformers gallery HERE!

The latest craze to sweep the nation is the Transformers Bot Shots, tiny Cybertronians who transform when you crash ‘em. Available in singles, three-packs, launchers, and ultimate battle sets, the Bot Shots bring classic and current characters to kids in a whole new super-deformed style. On display at San Diego Comic-Con was a wide variety of Bot Shots including currently available and upcoming toys. Highlights included:
-singles Autobot Jazz, Leadfoot, Powerglide, Ironhide, and chase Optimus Prime
-3-packs Skyquake, Jetfire & Powerglide, Decepticon Brawl, Shockwave & Ironhide
    -deluxe Battle for the Matrix

While Transformers Prime brings fans cool Autobot vs. Decepticon action on the Hub, Hasbro is bringing more and more of the cool character designs home with the toy line. While a little slow to start the Transformers Prime lineup has expanded to include many of the secondary characters as well as the major ones, and of course some cool alternative paint schemes.

Joining Arcee, Soundwave, Bumblebee, and the rest are upcoming toys shown at SDCC including:
-Deluxes Airachnid, Dead End, Sergeant Kup, Shadow Strike Bumblebee, and Rumble
    -Voyagers Thundertron and Dreadwing
    -Weaponizers Bumblebee and Optimus Prime
-Cute remote control versions of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Knock Out
-Cyberverse Bumblebee with Battle Suit, Star Hammer vehicle with Wheeljack, Energon Driller with Knock Out, and Optimus Maximus
