Yeah long overdue is right. I mean Pyramid Head is an icon, yet little to no toy merchandise for the ENTIRE franchise. (Meanwhile Resident Evil has enjoyed numerous lines from numerous companies).

This is a good start but I'm still hoping for something a little more articulated. And cheaper.

New Statues of Pyramid Head and Nurses...

A pleasant surprise at Comic-Con was Toymunkey Studios, a new toy company debuting with a new line of PVC statues based on the popular Konami video game series and hit movie franchise, Silent Hill. Slated for release this fall will be two creepy characters from the game: Pyramid Head (pictured above) and a Nurse (below). Each approximately 12-inch tall piece will come fully painted (unpainted prototypes were on display) and retail for a SRP of $150 each. More details as their release creeps closer. CLICK HERE for more photos.

Speaking of Silent Hill, Lionsgate shares with us a new clip from Silent Hill: Revelation 3D releasing in theaters October 26, 2012. Creeeepy!

Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand, Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.
