[HR][/HR]A shocking move from [B]McFarlane Toys[/B] in 2000 was their attempt at Japanese Anime. The figures were a hit and miss. Some, like those from [I]Akira[/I], were excellent renditions, especially [B]Tetsuo [/B]and his mutated arm and [B]Kaneda's[/B] futuristic bike. Others, such as [B]Major Motoko Kusanagi[/B] from [I]Ghost in the Shell[/I], came out... awkward looking. Still, some real gems in the waves released and it would have been interesting to see more anime properties receive the Todd treatment.
