    SDCC10: Kotobukiya Star Wars

Japanese giant hints at upcoming releases...

San Diego Comic-Con coverage brought to you by Collectibles Insurance, Big Bad Toy Store, Sekaido, and Monkey Depot.

Kotobukiya's Comic-Con booth, which was awesome, had two very interesting Star Wars prototypes. First was for the already announced shirtless Darth Maul done in traditional Japanese wood-cut style and samurai pose. It was an unpainted prototype, but you could see how cool it'll be with its light-up double bladed lightsaber.

Also intriguing was a brand new prototype for a Boba Fett (Cloud City) in the ARTFX+ line, which was very cool. Look for this item next summer for $44.99.

While those prototypes were cool to look at, fans also got to buy the popular lightsaber chopsticks!
