Gentle Giant announces three new additions to their growing family of 12-inch Star Wars Jumbo Kenner action figures, faithful reproductions of the toys you grew up with as a child, but much, much bigger! Slated for release in the first quarter of 2013, the following items will see release - all available for pre-order now through Gentle Giant's website:

    * Boba Fett (Rocket Firing) $85 - If you're like me and missed the very first release of Boba Fett - the 2010 Star Wars Celebration V exclusive - then this is very exciting news. Gentle Giant is bring back the popular bounty hunter, this time as a general release AND including a rocket firing backpack! Long time Star Wars collectors will recall that the original mail-away rocket firing Boba Fett never happened due to safety concerns, collectors instead receiving a Fett with his rocket glued into place. Still, it was the very first Boba Fett figure released and more than fitting that it receives the retro Jumbo Kenner treatment.

    * Gamorrean Guard $85 - I was growing out of collecting Star Wars by the time this little piggy came to market, but his release in the jumbo format should excite many.

    * Jumbo Kenner Cantina Playset $89 - Digitally scanned using one of the original 3 ¾” scale playsets, Gentle Giant has rendered this childhood treasure in 12” scale, which works out to be a whopping 37.5” wide, 21” deep and 20.7” tall. Die cut and printed on hefty, high-quality cardstock, the Jumbo Vintage Cantina Playset is just like you remember it from the old Holiday Wishbook.
