Edwards goes into a little detail about the creation process which he and the team at WETA Workshop in New Zealand worked on to come up with the final designs for both Godzilla and the MUTO, mentioning inspiration from a variety of classic movie monsters ranging from King Kong to H.R Giger's Alien.
