TriForce, best known for their stunning Gears of War prop replicas, is expanding in a big way in 2012. Their previously announced Mass Effect license was on display at Toy Fair in the form of the M-8 Avenger Assault Rifle. According to TriForce, pre-orders for this cool limited edition (only 500 pieces) replica are going fast, the prop replica being one of their hottest sellers to date. This life-size 1:1 scale prop replica measures 34" in length and weighs in at 20 pounds. Aside from its precise sculpting details, the M-8 is made even more authentic with the addition of brilliant working LED lights.

On the Gears of War side, TriForce had on display their Snub Pistol and their recently announced, all-new Locust Hammerburst Rifle in prototype form. The latter is a beast, tipping the scale at 35 pounds. TriForce plans to have it out later this year. The Snub Pistols are shipping now.

A new license announced for 2012 was Darksiders II, the follow-up to 2010's hit action adventure game. TriForce will be producing a 1:1 scale replica of Death's Scythe; the hero's duel-wielded weapon featuring a massive 7 foot blade span.

TriForce told us about a bunch of new stuff they are working on this year that we can't announce just yet. Stay tuned right here, however, the news is going to be very exciting...
