    SDCC15: DC Collectibles

Batman, Designer Series, Bombshells, Movie Reveals, & More...

Just before Preview Night commenced DC Collectibles held an exclusive press event to reveal a ton of products on the way later in 2015 and into 2016, and we’ve got the photos of all the cool stuff on hand! We first saw new Batman: Arkham Knight figures coming in February with Azrael, Professor Pyg, and the deluxe, massive Man-Bat. Alongside were TV figures expanding the Arrow and Flash series featuring Arrow Version 3, Black Canary, Malcolm Merlyn as well as Heat Wave and Reverse-Flash respectively (all of those come out in March).

Next up were more of DC’s hit Designer Series, this time highlighting the amazing art of Lee Bermejo with Green Lantern, Superman, Batman, and Lex Luthor; look for those figures in April. Following hot on their heels will be a Darwyn Cook series with Adam Strange, Harley Quinn, Batman, and Supergirl coming in June. The new Icons action figure series is adding a new assortment in May as well with Joker (Death in the Family), Green Lantern John Stewart, and Firestorm. Lastly the hit Batman The Animated Series continues with Wave 6 in March with Commissioner Gordon, Ra’s al Ghul, Zatanna, and Etrigan with Klarion.

In the statue department DC had new items to show off as well, with beautiful new Bombshells Cheetah coming in March and Killer Frost in June. But the big ticket were the headliners of the upcoming film Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice: Superman and a regular Batman coming in January followed by an incredible Armored Batman in March. Also on display was a super cool bronze Batman statue with details TBA.

Lastly, there was a table full of goodies for our eyes only; sorry, no photos allowed. But we can let you know what we saw: a fantastic Bombshells statue of Powergirl holding up her cousin Superman (July), Cover Girls Raven (July), Icons Lex Luthor statue (July), Wonder Woman Art of War statue based on art by Bruce Timm (April), Arkham Knight Oracle and Batgirl two-pack (June), Batman The Animated Series Harley Quinn, Firefly, Anti-Fire Suit Batman, and deluxe Clayface (July), and another Greg Capullo Designer Series featuring the Flash, Survival Batman, Joker, and Wonder Woman (July).
