Since the release of the first [I]Hobbit [/I]film last year[B] Bridge Direct[/B] really made a name for itself with high quality figures from the movies in both 3 ¾ and 6 inch scales.  We’ve featured their offerings for [I]An Unexpected Journey[/I] before, and the dwarves especially were solid toys with lots of articulation, great sculpts, and the number and quality of accessories you rarely see these days.  Thankfully, at Comic-Con this year Bridge Direct was back to show that they’re not stopping and we can expect more fantastic figures to bring the characters of [I]The Desolation of Smaug [/I]to your collection!  On display were a variety of figures from both movies including some new faces, notably more dwarves, elves, orcs, and more in the collector and kid friendly 3 ¾ inch lineup.  There were also some upcoming 6 inch figures and of course the SDCC exclusive [B]Orc Commander Azog[/B], and imposing character with crucial accessories right out of the first movie!
