[HR][/HR]AMC has cast actress [B]Danai Gurira[/B] ([I]Treme/The Visitor[/I]) in the coveted role of [B]Michonne[/B] in its original series, [B]The Walking Dead[/B]. Last night's season two finale first featured the character who will reappear in season three of the AMC series.  Michonne, a fan favorite from Robert Kirkman’s comic book series, is a mysterious woman armed with a sword.

While she hasn't been announced for McFarlane's Walking Dead TV series yet, I wouldn't be surprised to see her included in a future assortment.
