Sideshow Collectibles has made an official announcement regarding this year's Comic-Con event and how will it be carried out. According to the announcement, Sideshow will be making Comic-Con a month-long online event in addition to their on-site presence at the show.

We’ve got some very exciting news! For the millions of collectors who can’t travel to San Diego this year, we’re now doing even more to bring the con experience to you! This year, Sideshow Collectibles will be expanding its web presence for the much-anticipated San Diego Comic-Con for the ENTIRE month of July!

Starting July 1st, we’ll be showcasing many of our new product pre-orders, previews, special video features, and huge giveaways. Then, from July 21-25th, we’ll bring the excitement of live event to your home along with some final big announcements. This means less stress for you, the collector, and better opportunities for us to showcase the cool new collectibles we’ll be bringing to the Con!

As in years past, we will also be hosting a booth at the SDCC to give show attendees an up-close and personal look at the new products that have debuted during the month, with plenty of Sideshow staff on hand to personalize the experience! The booth will also give attendees the chance to ‘Collect-n-Go’ with easy and convenient pick up of their pre-ordered Sideshow SDCC Attendee Exclusives. These attendee editions of our Exclusives are offered at a special show price and negate the need to pay for shipping! (Not going to the show? No worries; we will still be offering a percentage of the edition size to non-attendees.)
