    Mattel's 1966 Batman Action Figures

    New DC Classic TV Series...

As revealed at Toy Fair (see HERE), Mattel will be releasing action figures based on one of the most beloved television series of all time, the 1966 Batman series. The first series in Mattel's new DC Classic TV Action Figures includes Batman, the Riddler, the Penguin, the Joker, Catwoman, and Batman (Surf's Up).

Each figure stands 6" tall and features blister card packaging. These are being solicited by Diamond Comics now (APR131758) with shipping this June. This series will also see release at mass market retailers. Check out new images of Batman, the Riddler and the Penguin in our gallery below.

Fans will also be treated to a 1966 Batmobile and an action figure 2-pack starring Batman and Robin with "window" display bases - a nifty pack-in that lets you recreate the Dynamic Duo scaling a building, just like in the show.
