QUantum Mechanix (QMx) surprises collectors with the announcement that they will entering the 1:6th scale action figure market. Their first release will be [B]Malcolm Reynolds[/B], the always resourceful captain of the Firefly-class transport Serenity. Captain Mal launcehs QMx's [B]1:6 Firefly "Big Damn Heroes"[/B] series standing 12 inches tall and featuring a realistic portrait of actor Nathan Fillion, created by sculptor Trevor Grove.

The 1:6 Malcolm Reynolds is priced at $179.95 and is expected to ship in late Q3 2014. Interested collectors can join a pre-order waiting list on QMx;s website [I]qmxonline.com[/I]. The figure will feature:
