    TF13: Kotobukiya DC Comics

    Impressive New Superheroes And Villains...

Kotobukiya has some great licenses, not least of which is DC Comics. At Toy Fair the Koto booth included quite the lineup of upcoming DC products ranging from the Justice League ARTFX+ series to Bishoujo figures and even some surprises. So far we’ve reviewed Superman, Green Lantern, and Flash from the New 52 Justice League line, so it was cool to see the entire seven-figure lineup on display; the others looked great especially the beautiful Wonder Woman and the imposing Cyborg. Look for those to continue to roll out over the next few months. The first big news was that Kotobukiya will be releasing a New 52 Deathstroke ARTFX statue! Sculpted by Junnosuke Abe, the Terminator will come with both masked and unmasked display options. An inside source says we will be seeing more New 52 characters on the way, maybe even more teams.

In Koto’s larger scale statue line the Joker made an appearance in the Killing Joke version, a very creepy presentation complete with spotlight and little leather-clad cherub. The next big statue release will be a powerful ARTFX Superman: For Tomorrow sculpted by Kouei Matsumoto (who also crafted the popular Batman Black Costume ARTFX). On display from the DC Bishoujo series were Power Girl, Huntress, and Harley Quinn. Meanwhile, art on display of the upcoming Black Canary promises this will be quite an impressive statue!

Also on display were Koto’s cute Korejanai Justice League mini figures, now available for $5.99 each. What wasn’t on display was the upcoming Man of Steel ARTFX statue, but rumors are that it will be very impressive.
