Re: NECA Announces New VALVE Prop Replica

Oh my, I wasn't expecting this. The world is greatly lacking in Valve figures and props, and this is simply beautiful, it will look great next to my Portal Device.

NECA Announces New VALVE Prop Replica

    1:1 Half-Life Gravity Gun...

Following thier successful run with Portal 2's Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device, NECA will be introducing a new 1:1 scale prop replica based on a Valve video game. Releasing in Spring 2013 will be Half-Life's Gravity Gun, the The Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator (pictured above in prototype form).

The Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator (ZPEFM), most commonly known as the Gravity Gun, is a tractor beam-type weapon that was originally designed for handling hazardous materials, but, as Alyx stated, was primarily used for heavy lifting. At its core is a substance that appears to be a Xen crystal. Introduced to the player by Alyx Vance shortly after arrival at Black Mesa East, the Gravity Gun soon becomes an invaluable tool in Gordon Freemanā€˜s arsenal and is considered one of his trademark weapons.
NECA states that the 1:1 scale replica will be limited, but not as limited as their Portal replicas were. It will be on display at NY Toy Fair this February with pre-orders to start soon.
