    NYCC13: ARH Studios

    Fantastic High-End Fantasy Statues...

ARH Studios was turning heads at New York Comic Con with their display of massive high-end fantasy statues. I'm talking 1/4th scale BIG. ARH Studios has been keeping a low profile, the majority of their releases being sold through Sideshow Collectibles, such as their Leonidas, Cleopatra and Medusa statues. You were probably like "woah, cool" not even realizing who made them. Now you know and ARH Studios plans on continuing to sell through Sideshow with a number of new releases including an awesome Minotaur (pictured above), Ares, Angel of Darkness and a jaw-dropping Conan The Sacrifice statue (below). ARH Studios will also be selling many of these pieces on their website (arhstatues.com) as exclusives packed with extras not found anywhere else. The ARH Exclusive Conan statue, for example, will include additional interchangable heads and weapons, such as a sword. Killer art like this doesn't come cheap, however, the "smaller" pieces such as the Ares and the Minotaur retailing for several hundred dollars, while the gigantic Conan statue will sell for around $1000 (final pricing has not been established yet). To help collectors acquire these statues, ARH is establishing a payment plan - like Sideshow - on their website.
