[B]Weta[/B], who contributed their design talent to Neill Blomkamp's latest sci-fi film [B]ELYSIUM[/B], announce that they will be bringing collectibles home to fans. First is the [B]Elysium: Art of the Film[/B] book ([I]pictured above[/I]). Shipping now priced at $39.99, this book features a foreword by Blomkamp, and 172 pages of stunning production art and photos, including Elysium's Weta-designed props and weapons, as well as the input of legendary designer Syd Mead ([I]Blade Runner, Tron[/I]). Published by Titan Books Ltd, Elysium: The Art of the Film is written by Mark Salisbury.

Speaking of Elysium weapons, Weta will also be releasing a prop replica of the [B]TST Chemrail[/B], an [I]EXACT[/I] replica of the gun Max (Matt Damon) wields in Elysium. The gun is made from fibreglass, which gives it great heft, with some minor details made from other materials. The gun has no moveable parts and it comes with a wall mounting bracket for display. It measures 11.4" H x 40.2" W x 2.8" D. The TST Chemrail prop replica is scheduled to ship March - June 2014.
