[HR][/HR]There probably wasn't a soul in America that didn't hear about the controversy over Conan O'Brien's much-publicized departure from The Tonight Show on NBC last year. The whirlwind of activity that followed was seemingly less publicized, if you weren't sitting in front of a computer at all, as the events that happened immediately after were larger than life in their own way, proving just how important social networking can be to one's career. Conan O'Brien joined Twitter, began selling tickets to the "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television" tour, which sold-out audiences across the nation. Throughout the commotion, director Rodman Flender was tapped to document it all with the resulting [B]CONAN O'BRIEN CAN'T STOP[/B]. The film documentary was released in just a spattering of independent theaters, so for all who missed it, you can finally pick up the DVD or Blu-ray today, September 13th.

Before I confuse anyone, this documentary film is not the live act, though you will see bits of it. It's mostly everything else, which I believe is much more fascinating to witness. It's a rare thing to experience a talk show host when they're not On Air" so to speak, but here you'll see Conan bitch and moan like all of us do, but never does he seek help to change any of it. He keeps on going as long as there's an audience. Conan being Conan is often funny but it's real at the same time. This is Conan at his most desperate time. It may not spell it out completely but it's certainly there and certainly why this is a must for fans. Not only is it a pivotal point in television history, but it's also a very pivotal point in Conan O'Brien’s career.
