As announced back with our San Diego Comic-Con coverage (see our story HERE), one of the first Valve video games NECA will be tackling in early 2012 will be Left 4 Dead. Pictured is a fully painted look at the "Boomer," the bloated bile-spitting, exploding zombie. While not obvious in the picture, NECA states that the figure will have articulated legs, hips, knees and ankles.

The "Boomer" will join the "Smoker" zombie as the first two L4D figures released. You can catch a glimpse of the unpainted "Smoker" prototype in our interview with NECA sculptor Trevor Zammit HERE.
