Yes, Spawn had gone Hollywood, and while the reviews were mixed, you have to hand it to Todd for getting the job done. Like the movie, the toy line was a mixed bag. Human figures - such as Jason Wynn and Jessica Priest - failed to excite me, but the towering deluxe figures of Violator and Malebolgia were real showstoppers. Now if McFarlane can get a sequel (or reboot) off the ground to bring fresh energy to Spawn. The world's been waiting too long for new Spawn toys...
