SDCC11:Star Wars The force is strong with Sideshow Collectibles... San Diego Comic-Con coverage brought to you by Tonner, Collectibles Insurance, and Big Bad Toy Store. Star Wars has quickly become Sideshow Collectibles' definitive license, spanning a wide variety of formats and continually surprising fans with incredible quality and huge announcements and this year is no exception. On display were many of their recently announced collectibles from their life-size offerings and Premium Format figures to the endless 1/6 scale line and new jaw-dropping Legendary Scale statues. Highlights include the 1/6 Scale Dewback, IG-88, Boba Fett, 4-LOM, R5-D4, Cantina Environment, General Grievous, Commander Gree and an assortment of different colored Battle Droids. For life-size pieces they showed off the Han Solo in Carbonite, Asajj Ventrss Bust, and C-3P0 Bust. There was also the first two entries, Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi, in the Legendary Scale statue series. The biggest announcement that was recently made was the partnership with Hot Toys to create high detail 1/6 scale Star Wars figures with the first entry, Bespin Luke Skywalker, on display You can see all these and more in our Sideshow gallery HERE!
