Oh, and NECA DID have the Ghostbusters license in 2004 and dropped the ball. The Terror Dogs were great, Slimer and Gozer not so much. Never made the Ghostbusters themselves - a missed opportunity.
I remember when NECA lost it, I was crushed. They were working on getting likeness approval for a very very long time. Plus, NECA has come a VERY long way since 2004. Their Gears, Bioshock and Predator lines have no equal in their scale as far as quality.

So those figures are already hard enough to get and retarded over priced and THEN they make you pay for a "club" to get more? So you're paying them money to give them more money? Wow. These figs already cost way more than their quality justifies, that's just ridiculous. Someday the license will escape their grasp again hopefully. I'd much rather be seeing Hot Toys and NECA versions. The way NECA's been kicking butt lately, they'd make far superior GB figs and for far less money. Its business like that that makes me avoid all Mattel products... though my gf is all over their Monster High line, lol.

Now before all you MOTUCers go nuts spending 250 bucks trying to get a marshmallow Ray, remember that the StayPuft would have to be blown up and therefore not pictured with him to have that make sense. Use your brains before your wallets on this one.

Cringer, Ecto 1, Princess of Power Polly, more...

Now that the cat is literally out of the bag in regards to the pack-in Cringer figure which will accompany the SDCC Queen Marlena, what made you decide to focus the costing on extra accesories for the queen vs making a larger and more articulated Cringer? The concept of the switch-out costumes in Marlena was a great idea but did you always mean for to make Cringer in cub form?

Doing a fully articulated Cringer would have been way more expensive then the extra accessories for Marlena (especially since two of them are redecos).
Many fans were displeased when the mysterious MOTUC 3-pack turned out to be a Princess of Power Polly Pocket gift set. What was the reasoning behind making this girl-based collectible instead of a standard figure 3-pack that would have more appeal to MOTUC fans?

There was always going to be a Pollly SDCC item and the Polly team decided to theme this year's set for POP (much as last year they did Polly as DC characters). This was not a toy developed by the MOTUC team, we just consulted on it.
Every SDCC item was revealed in it's loose and fully packaged form with exception of the Queen Marlena/Cringer set? When can we look forward to seeing the final product in it's blister card?

As soon as we get in packaged samples.
The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was an unexpected surprise and the Marshmallow Mess Ray looks amazing next to Mr. Puft but unfortunately many of us did not get this figure because we did not purchase a Club Ecto subscription. Will Ray and the other Ghostbusters see release in marshmallow-covered goodness in the near future? Perhaps as a new gift set?

Defiantly not. This Ray was special for Club Ecto subscribers and won't be reissued ever. Should have jumped on while you could!
Now that Stay Puft has joined the Ghostbusters colection as a Comic-Con exclusive, would you consider developing an in-scale Ecto 1 as next year's convention exclusive?

Not very likely. An Ecto 1 vehicle would take way more tooling and is just not something logistically possible based on the current sales of 6" figures.
