I just received those 3 new figures from Neca's retailer in China, they look awesome! I think there's also a series 7 by end of this year, with a red colored predator. Look forward to those too!

For the past couple of years, NECA has been delivering a wide range awesome Predator action figure collectibles in both 7-inch and quarter scale. With so many Predator figure releases under their belt, it comes as no surprise that these folks are huge fans of the franchise themselves. For over a year now, NECA has embarked on the ambitious project of producing the entire "Lost Clan" in action figure form; the mysterious group of Predator warriors seen at the end of Predator 2. With Series 6 hitting retail late last month, NECA has successfully accomplished this task with the release of the final trio of clan members: Lost Predator, Scout Predator and Warrior Predator ("Ram").

Just like the previous Predator waves, all three figures come packaged in a very cool blister in the shape of a Predator head. The blister card image on the front is a profile image of the City Hunter which suits this assortment perfectly since all the figures are based on the Predator 2 film. The back of the blister card features a bio of each corresponding Predator along with images of the rest of the trio along the bottom.

Scout Predator

The final Lost Tribe members feature a vivid mix of familiar and newly sculpted designs which gives each Predator its own unique look. The Lost Predator significantly stands out among the trio as the most unique looking tribe member. The Lost Predator is mostly made up of newly tooled parts such as the awesome looking unmasked head and high-tech chest/thigh armor. The Scout Predator is made up of several shared parts from the Jungle Hunter including the helmet but features new chest armor and different mounted plasma cannon on his left shoulder.

Warrior Predator

The Warrior Predator is mostly made up of the same parts used on the Scout but with a completely new helmet, which is one of the coolest designs I have seen throughout the entire Predator franchise. The fine sculpted details on each one of these tribe members is nothing short of impressive.

Lost Predator

The most impressive trait of the Predator trio is the unique paint jobs that truly set them apart from one another. The Lost Predator significantly stands out among the rest of the figures in this assortment as a result of its’ light yellow skin which is covered in bold green striping. The high tech chest armor, boots and gauntlets are colored in a metal-like navy blue with black highlights which contrasts nicely against the snake-like color of the skin.

The paint deco on the head of the Lost Predator is equally impressive and features a lot of detail in the mouth and forehead. The Warrior Predator features a simpler paint deco that makes it look more generic in comparison to the others. The skin color consists of a light aquamarine blue with dark blue accents. The helmet and armored pieces are painted to resemble weathered steel which clashes quite nicely against the multi-toned blue skin.

Although I’m sure there is no relation between the two, the overall color and helmet design of the Warrior Predator reminds me of a Mandalorian warrior from Star Wars the Clone Wars. The paint apps on the Scout Predator also look great although the color scheme looks very familiar in comparison to some of the other tribe members. Regardless of the similarities with other Predators, the Scout Predator has a very clean and eye-catching deco but it’s just not as impressive as the other two clan members in the assortment.

The Predator trio feature over 25 points of articulation allowing collectors to display their tribe members in varying dynamic poses. The joints are nice and tight on all the Predators and for the most part, the body armors do not restrict their range of movement.

Each Predator includes one packed-in accessory. The Scout and Warrior each come with throwing discs while the Lost Predator includes a unique bone-handle machete. While the throwing discs are very cool weapons, I personally think the accessory has been way over-used within the Predator figure collection.

Thanks to the creative efforts of Randy Falk his talented crew, the Lost Tribe is finally complete. This latest assortment of Predators is available for purchase now. Personally, I believe that NECA has saved the best for last with this assortment and I highly recommend picking these up to beef-up your Predator collection. I recommend buying a full set online as the prices tend to be cheaper than purchasing each figure individually when you factor in shipping but you should also be able to find them at Toys"R"Us if you are cherry-picking.
