    SDCC10: Fantasy Figure Gallery Expands

Plus new "variable motion figures" revealed...

San Diego Comic-Con coverage brought to you by Collectibles Insurance, Big Bad Toy Store, Sekaido, and Monkey Depot.

Yamato USA impressed fantasy collectors at Comic-Con with a full display of their Fantasy Figure Gallery PVC AND resin statues. That's right, following their SDCC Exclusive Black Tinkerbell resin statue release, Yamato will begin releasing fan favorite PVC Fantasy Figure gallery pieces as limited edition high-end resins with extra pieces and bases. Medusa's Gaze will be one of the first releases, shown at the Con with an incredible new base (see our photo HERE). The more affordable PVC Fantasy Figure Gallery collection will continue, however. A new statue revealed at Comic-Con was Discovery inspired by the art of the renown Boris Vallejo (pictured above). Other pieces fans can look forward to are Luis Royo's Dead Moon and Dancer of Pain.

A surprise reveal at the show was a new line of towering dolls called vmf (variable motion figures). These 20 inch tall beauties will feature real cloth outfits and accessories. Vmf will be available in the US exclusively through Yamato's Online Shop. More details to revealed soon.
