Tom Cruise in EDGE OF TOMORROW - Official Trailer

    Live. Die. Repeat...

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Edge of Tomorrow, a new sci-fi action film starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Slated for a summer release June 6, 2014, the movie is based on the Japanese light novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.

A soldier fighting in a war with aliens finds himself caught in a time loop of his last day in the battle, though he becomes better skilled along the way.
The book, while short, is an intense, fast-paced action-packed read. From viewing the trailer, the movie looks faithful to the book as far as the plot is concerned - Tom Cruise's character fighting and dying - over and over again. The major difference is the robotic battle gear. In the book they are described as covering more of the body - like a mech suit, where the movie uses more of an exo-suit, Ã* la Elysium - obviously to expose the actors on camera. Still looks to be a great 2014 blockbuster.
