ART OF WAR brings back a Berserk classic with the updated re-release of the "Guts: The Battle for Doldrey" statue.

One of the most popular Berzerk statues sold by Art of War about fifteen years ago, "Guts: The Battle for Doldrey" returns better than ever utilizing modern painting techniques. A grisly blood splatter has been added to Guts, his sword and the ground, while his armor has been enhanced with a more realistic metallic finish. The shading on Guts' flapping cape has been improved and dust effects have been added to Guts' body, outfit and even his horse. Overall, the complexity of the paint applications have been raised, making this statue more lifelike.

The 1:10th scale "Guts: The Battle for Doldrey" statue is priced at about $756 (60,000 Japanese Yen) and is limited to only 100 pieces produced. It is scheduled to be released at the end of July/ early August 2012. Pre-orders are currently underway exclusively at art-of-war.co.jp/english/.
