One of the up and coming names in the art toys scene is Frombie, home of Zora the Friendly Zombie. With a substantial booth and plenty of cool stuff to see at WonderCon there was lots of Frombie love to go around. While giant versions of their flagship characters Zora and SB the squirrel oversaw things from the corners of the booth, in between them was Frombie’s huge collection of figures, plushes, art, pins, keychains, accessories, and more. In addition to all of the cool standard items including Zoras and SBs in multiple color schemes, Frombie had some pretty unique exclusives like the Chelly Chainsaw X Zora and the online exclusive GID (glow in the dark) SB. The former was a collaboration with artist Erick Scarecrow who was on hand for signings and to talk to fans. The Frombie booth also held some prototypes of upcoming releases including the cute Cami the Jackalope in multiple colors and an unpainted sculpt of the tantruming character Aldara sama (another collaboration with Scarecrow). With neat characters, plenty of fun products, and really friendly people, Frombie (Frombies.com) is one company you’re going to want to keep your eye on! Check out WonderCon photo gallery for complete coverage of the Frombie booth. - Scott Rubin
