Re: U.S.S. Enterprise-E, Star Trek: Nemesis Edition

This video and pictures clearly show the terrible light bleed, the use of incandescent bulbs, the paint screwup on the aztec pattern on the saucer, and the distorted sound from the inadequate speaker. What it DOESN'T show (nice try Zach) is the terrible placement of the huge black copyright text, which is located right on the nacelle struts! Literally, right in your line of sight when looking at the profile of this thing! I returned this POS because AGAIN the registry was crooked on the saucer. DST just can't seem to get Trek ships right, especially in the last couple of years. I am still waiting for an Enterprise-E toy that is worth having.

At first, I was happy to hear that a First Contact version is in the works. Then, I found out that the sounds and lights are going to be exactly the same.

    No thanks.

People would be better off building an AMT model of this ship and passing on DST.

DST Shows Off Paint Job and Lighting Effects...

Diamond Select Toys shares new photos - and a video - showing off the paint job and lighting effects on their new Star Trek: Nemesis edition of the U.S.S. Enterprise-E.

This new version of the E features a completely different paint scheme from DST’s original model of the E, one that accurately reflects the ship’s appearance in Nemesis. This edition also includes additional lighting effects, specifically on the ship’s nacelles, which now light up for the first time. And of course, the ship features the same authentic sound effects as well as dialogue from Captain Jean-Luc Picard. This starship replica is in stores now.
