Zero articulation, but plenty of action...

This series of figures from Dusty Trail Toys focused on capturing great warriors throughout time in dynamic action poses. The figures lacked articulation, but their excellent sculpts more than made up for it. Pictured is the Card Back for one of my favorites from Series 2 - The Samurai. With one foot planted firmly on the ground, the figure flows with eye-grabbing energy, deflecting a hail of arrows with his spear. Speaking of arrows, Dusty Trails provided extras (some full, some broken) with this figure for placing on the bridge base as you saw fit. Shame this line didn't resonate louder with collectors, some cool ideas were planned, such as a Huey gunship gunner.
