It's been a long, rough journey for Toytribe/Kaiyodo's Assemble Borg. The line of interchangeable futuristic action figures was first announced back in late 2007 (see our story HERE). A year passed until we finally received a hands-on look at the first production figures released in Japan (see our story HERE). But where to find these cool collectibles in the United States?

Toytribe/Kaiyodo sends word, that starting today, Assemble Borg can now be purchased through their new official North American website - AssembleBorg.net - via an Amazon.com account. The four figures available for U.S. collectors are the same four intitially offered in Japan. Branded as an original Revoltech release, Assemble Borg includes the heroes Mr. Assemble, Baron, and Cyber. A sleek vehicle called the Barrels Speeder is also available. The figures are retailing for $29 each with the motorcycle priced at $39. Each figure consists of 14 Revolver Joints for a wide range of poses, interchangable hands and a wealth of unique weapons. As mentioned, all figures are interchangeable with each other, allowing for countless creations.

Also of interest for Assemble Borg fans is a free iApp download and new Facebook page.
