SDCC10: Cosplay Action Fans and pros show their Comic-Con spirit... San Diego Comic-Con coverage brought to you by Collectibles Insurance, Big Bad Toy Store, Sekaido, and Monkey Depot. A convention is not a convention without its loyal fans. And not just any loyal fans, I'm talking about the pop culture obsessed: THE COSPLAYERS. San Diego Comic-Con is like Ground Zero for cosplay action, from crudely crafted costumes to professional film-ready kits like the Cylon Commander in the pic above. There were some good ones this year. Industry hired pros like the sexy Green Hornet girls and the mob of "Walking Dead" zombies outside the Con entertained attendees with their good (and ugly) looks. Some of my favorite cosplayers didn't really dress up, but still stole the show with their unprecedented fandom. Take "comic tattoo guy" whose devoted inking of superheroes on his body is as hardcore as you get and "Star Wars shirt guy" who turned nostalgic vintage bed sheets into a hip fashion statement. Two geeky thumbs up. Check out the diverse collection of Comic-Con Cosplayers captured on camera HERE!
