Pacific Rim fans (like many of us at Figures.com) are insatiable when it comes to toys of our favorite giant robots and monsters, and thankfully NECA has come through to feed our need with amazing action figures of the film's Kaiju and Jaegers. At Toy Fair this year we got a closer look at the 7 inch figure series (coming very soon) featuring Cherno Alpha, Coyote Tango, Battle Damaged Knifehead, and Trespasser. Each one looked fantastic in person, and imposing even in their packaging. As this line progresses NECA is able to do more and more exciting things with the figures like adding articulation, sculpted detail, and even size and weight. There are lots more things planned for the 7 inch lineup too, starting with a double dose of Kaiju in Series 4's Axehead (based on concept art) and Scunner! Further down the line (maybe Series 5) we'll also see the return of Gipsy Danger with an all-new figure that's bigger, features increased articulation, and comes with interchangeable plasma cannon arms. Also on display at Toy Fair was the gargantuan 18 inch Knifehead, due out in May. It's an epic figure with light up features and great articulation down to its fingers. This large scale will continue as well, with the next figure planned to be Cherno Alpha! While there was no photography allowed, NECA is bringing Pacific Rim to its new line of Scalers; we saw a prototype of Knifehead and it looked really cool.
