Kinda bummed that the first couple series only contain the humans; I've always preferred the Locust figures. But sounds like a good lineup thus far. I'll be a happy man if I can get my hands on those exclusive packs.

And a re-released Anthony Carmine figure? Good thing I already sold my old SDCC one on ebay for insane amounts of money.

That white Theron is a "savage Theron". Its a playable character in gears 3 and was in the beta.

Jeffffffffff... want to see a close up pic of Cole!! Will that be possible?? Hope I am not to late in asking...

I know soon figures.com will have first hand preview of all Gears figures... still want to see Cole in full detail!

The new gears of war figures look great ! outstanding quality and articulation, although I am wondering how they will handle this line. Are they going to re-do all the figures that were in Gears 2 if they are in Gears 3? If so, will they be any different? I mean, that Locust Drone looks exactly the same as the Gears 2 version and I hated the torso's on those figure. I am also disappointed to see the first 2 series are just cog figures. Do you also know if the toys R us box sets will be released alongside the series? I am very interested in the Carmine 3-pack, obviously.

Come September, Epic Games rolls out the eagerily awaited final chapter to their Gears of War video game trilogy. Gears of War 3 takes our heroes down a dark road to face old Locust foes and a new explosive threat (quite literally), the Lambent. To reflect these dire times, Marcus Fenix and the crew sport a cool new rugged look and bring with them an arsenal of "new" weapons, including the bayonetted Retro Lancer and Double-Barrel Shotgun.
