    NYTF16: Schleich

DC Comics Adds Batman V Superman, Marvel On The Way...

Just before New York Toy Fair last year Schleich, the German company’s DC Comics Justice League figures were just starting to hit shelves in the U.S. That line has included several single figures as well as two-packs of superheroes Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, and Flash along with the Joker and Darkseid. This year marks the expansion of the Justice League lineup with single packs of Cyborg, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman as well a two-pack of Batman and Harley Quinn and a “Big Set” of all seven core JL members. Future releases include two-packs of Batman and Bane and Superman and Lex Luthor. In addition, Schleich is switching over the packaging to something more collector-friendly with window boxes, collector cards, and a numbering system for the figures.

Meanwhile, with the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film close on the horizon Schleich is on board the collectibles train with single packs of Armored Batman and Wonder Woman and a two-pack of regular Batman and Superman!

Finally, while there wasn’t anything on display at Toy Fair the company recently acquired the license for Marvel Comics and will be producing Avengers figures based on the comics and films!
