Marvel Select Wolverine From "The Wolverine"

    New Marvel Movie Figure Revealed...

The Wolverine - this years follow-up to 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine - has been shrouded in secrecy, leaving fans to only guess at what toys the film might bring. Today on Marvel.com, however, Diamond Select Toys breaks that secrecy by revealing Wolverine from the new film as their newest Marvel Select action figure.

This seven-inch action figure, due out this fall, depicts Wolverine in a look straight out of the film and features 16 points of articulation as well as interchangeable hands and heads, sculpted by Gentle Giant. The figure comes with a detailed display base in display-ready Select packaging, with the movie art on the shelf reference panel.

The Wolverine hits U.S. theaters July 26. In the movie, Logan travels to Japan, where he engages a mysterious figure from his past in a fight that has lasting consequences. Vulnerable for the first time, and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel, but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than ever before.
